Palo Alto Software, the world leader in small business planning and financial management software, announced today the hire of Kathy Gregory, a business development veteran as Accountant Strategic Advisor Channel Manager. The strategic hire of a dedicated advisor comes as the company is placing a greater emphasis on supporting this channel, increasing focus on accountants looking to expand their offerings to small business clients. Gregory joins Palo Alto Software from Real Enterprise Solutions where she managed financial forecasting for multiple business units as Financial Manager and Analyst.
Gregory brings with her more than 15 years of business development solutions and planning across financial services and operations, working alongside of executives, boards and investors in strategic planning, process development, project management, and mergers and acquisitions. Before Real Enterprise Solutions, Gregory was the Process Coordinator for Tava Technologies, and before then, served as an engineering assistant for USNR - Söderhamn Eriksson (formerly INOVEC Optimization).
“As more accountants are looking to create a holistic offering to their small business clients, many are turning to LivePlan as a way to help plan and forecast. Kathy’s extensive experience in financial and operations development will be an asset to those she helps, and will drive LivePlan integration among accountants looking to grow their firm,” said Sabrina Parsons, CEO of Palo Alto Software. “We’re humbled to attract top talent like Kathy as we continue to grow and offer the very best in business planning to our clients.”
Gregory’s hire continues a year of company focus on product expansion and talent growth, following the recent partnership with American Family Insurance, the nation's third-largest mutual property/casualty insurance company. Additionally, LivePlan includes a small business dashboard, which features graphic views of key business performance indicators through its Scoreboard feature, giving users the ability to more easily track and manage fiscal health of their small business.
“I'm thrilled to be working for a company with such a passion around the success of small businesses. As the economy grows and changes, it is always the small business owners providing the foundation to their local communities, and at the same time they are often the most in need of great tools to help them grow their business,” said Gregory. “We’re in the best position to guide the small business owner on their growth path using LivePlan. The scope and breadth of its toolset is unparalleled, and its ease of use and price point make it a no-brainer for implementation.”
