Palo Alto Software was pleased to sponsor the first Seattle Angel Conference, held May 31 at the beautiful Makers Space in Seattle’s historic Belltown district.
At the conference, an investor group of 19 investors actively interviewed and reviewed presentations from six finalist companies chosen from the original group of 26 applicants. Presenting companies had the opportunity to receive up to $100,000 in investment money. The six finalists included:

The winning company was Ilumagear, whose innovative safety light aimed initially at the construction industry was incredibly well received by the audience and investors. Max very effectively demonstrated the safety concerns facing the construction industry as well as the vast market potential for his product.
Palo Alto Software provided the six finalist teams with access to LivePlan online business planning software. “This is going to make our life a lot easier. We have a few spreadsheets that we update each month, and the software should make my finance guy very happy,” Baker commented.
