PR (Email Center Pro): Palo Alto Software launches Email Center Pro, a Software as a Service product

by mike

Newest product categorizes, assigns and allows group viewing of incoming email and responses- saving time, resources and ensuring the end of lost email.

Eugene, OR (April 21, 2008) – Palo Alto Software (www.paloalto.com) today announced the launch of its newest software as a service (SaaS) Email Center Pro.

Email Center Pro is the latest innovation from Palo Alto Software allowing for the management of shared inboxes and providing easy, secure access to all customer email – ensuring that inquiries will always get fast and accurate responses.

Email Center Pro solves a common problem in small business. It helps a business run better by making it easier to manage group email accounts like info@yourcompany.com or help@yourcompany.com. Shared email accounts are often mismanaged. One client’s email slips through the cracks. Another client gets three unrelated replies with different messages. These are the kind of real-world problems that Palo Alto Software struggled with before developing this system for its own internal use. It is still in use at the company today.

With Email Center Pro, inbound email can be turned into a great customer experience. Designate the team members that should see a group of email and they will be able to:

• See complete email conversations
• Assign emails to individuals for follow up
• Create message templates for quick responses
• Tag and categorize emails for easy retrieval
• Add internal notes to ongoing conversations

“Email Center Pro was born out of a need here at our own company. Valuable emails were lost or routed incorrectly, costing us business. We knew there had to be a way to create a product that could show us who responded to email and would ensure that every customer received the right response as quickly as possible” said Sabrina Parsons, CEO of Palo Alto Software. “Palo Alto Software’s new Email Center Pro provides a bird’s-eye view of everything in your shared inboxes. You will see how many emails are in each box and how many are assigned to you. It’s a unique solution for a common pain point and we are happy and proud to introduce it to the marketplace.”

Email Center Pro can handle thousands of messages per day and does so transparently. At any point users can see how many messages are in each inbox, and how many messages have been responded to. Users can see each response and even know who responded to each message. Email Center Pro reliably archives all messages providing a history of every email that has gone through the service, unless a user chooses to delete it Email Center Pro is password protected and encrypted to ensure security and uses the Amazon Web Services infrastructure for the same level of reliability as the Amazon.com store.

“We have been using Email Center Pro for less than 24 hours and absolutely love it,” said Steve Ho of Shannon Ho Photography. “It is revolutionizing how we do business.”
