We at Palo Alto Software are teaming up with leading Oregon organizations to provide free copies of our popular Business Plan Pro Premier Edition software to entrepreneurs and businesses statewide. Go to event page

Why are we giving away our software?

Throughout Oregon, small-and medium-sized businesses are struggling to sustain growth, keep their staff intact, or even just remain open. They are searching for ways to run their businesses smarter and stronger. As an Oregon-based small business itself, Palo Alto Software wants to support other Oregon businesses and help as many as possible get through the current tough times and succeed.

With this in mind, we have initiated the Oregon Small Business Boost. On Wednesday, July 1st, any Oregon resident -- business owners, planners, dreamers -- can walk into one of over 70 giveaway locations all over Oregon, and pick up a free copy of our best-selling Business Plan Pro Premier Edition software.

In teaming up with the Oregon Small Business Development Center Network, Oregon Entrepreneurs Network, the Oregon State Chamber of Commerce, SmartUps.org, and many other statewide agencies, our goal is to get this valuable resource into the hands of as many local businesses as possible, and to help Oregon grow.

As supporters of entrepreneurship and small business, we believe in the value of business planning as a growth and management tool and are confident that Business Plan Pro can help give Oregon businesses a boost by making available a vital planning tool to better start, run, and grow their businesses.

We will be giving away over 10,000 copies of the same popular, full-featured, software that sells for $199.95 nationwide. In addition to providing planning software to Oregon entrepreneurs, Palo Alto Software hopes to also provide an introduction to the valuable services and resources available to small businesses in their community.

More than 80 Chambers of Commerce, SBDC offices, and other locations throughout the state have already committed to be pickup locations. We are making an effort to make this event accessible to all Oregonians, in small communities and large cities alike.

So who exactly is eligible for this giveaway?

Our one-day free offer has a few conditions:

• The software download certificate must be physically picked up at one of the sponsoring pickup locations
• Only one unit per business/per person
• The software must be installed and registered within 48 hours of pickup; otherwise the code given will expire (this prevents the software from being sold online)
• You must be an Oregon Resident and over 18 years of age
• The software is NOT for resale and will be void if resold
• The software is for use on Windows PC computer systems only
